[Of course Jyn doesn't know the specifics, but she doesn't think that she needs to. Just seeing Cassian and his quarters a little messy is more than enough clue as to the turmoil he's facing on the inside.
She pauses for a moment in order to place the bottles of water she's procured from the cantina in a neat line on his desk, and then gestures toward the bed, like she wants him to sit first. And she does. Maybe it won't help with his restless energy, but it will put her a little bit more at ease to know that he's trying to recuperate properly.
She'll take the chair.
If he wants distraction, distraction he will get. Jyn doesn't necessarily think that she's the best with small talk, but if it takes focus away from whatever is causing his strife, she'll try.]
I've always wondered - do you have any hobbies? Something you like to do in your spare time?
[Not that they're granted the luxury of much spare time. Still, it seems as good a question as any - and she really does want to know.]

I'm… honestly not sure. Most of what I know, about anything, I learned for work. Or how to make it work. For myself or for a character I played. Going all the way back… I never played with other kids. We were all soldiers. We drilled.
I guess when I'm in hyperspace, coming back, job's over, and there's nothing to do. Sometimes, to stop thinking, I watch kids' shows. They're the only programming reliably free of… what I get enough of at work.
That's a lousy answer. How about you?
